The first half of the level 1 slab pour took place on the 23rd of August and the site was a hive of activity in preparation for the second half slab pour which took place Wednesday the 29th of August.
Recent weather conditions have resulted in great progress on site and we are hoping the favourable weather conditions continue over the next few days. Pre-cast concrete panels along the northern boundary and the central core landed on-site on the 25th of August, and will be erected enabling formwork to continue for level 2. The concrete panels are about 6m in height so the building will start to project further out of the site as each week passes.
Once level 2 is reached, the concrete slabs are a more typical 200mm thick so the structural cycle will speed up even further.
